Help Build The Trail
Phase 1 is open! Come out to Cass Park and enjoy it! The community contributed more than $100,000 in matching funds to construct Phase 1. This includes over 350 individual and business Stepping Stone purchases, sponsorships of seven benches, a dog care station, and bike racks, and also sponsorships of three special trail places: the Cass Park Trailhead, the Miller Birch Grove, and the Inlet Overlook. The Cayuga Waterfront Trail Initiative is greatly appreciative of all its donors, and believes strongly that the support of the business community and individuals is essential for us to build a great waterfront trail.

Now we need your help to build Phase 2. We are in the process of raising $200,000 in community contributions to match the $488,000 in federal Transportation Enhancement Program funds and the $112,000 in City of City of Ithaca funding already raised. Your contribution to this effort will make it possible to improve access to our beautiful waterfront.

Note: There are still sponsorship opportunities available for Phase 1 in Cass Park, including stepping stones at the trailhead and the existing gateway arch trail bridge. This may be of particular interest to those interested in becoming an End to Ender but have yet to make a phase 1 donation. More furnishings are also needed along the Waterfront Trail in Cass Park including benches, swing benches, another dog care station, and other furnishings listed below. Please let us know if a Phase 1 location is your preference when you make your selection. Your contribution is tax deductible.

Thank you for your support of the Cayuga Waterfront Trail!
